Preparing to transfer
Update settings for the Configure configuration:
Change the Retain Existing Database settings for the RDB configuration (RDBCONFIG) in Developer. In addition, enter the RDB configuration in the RDB Configuration <<segment>> property of the Configure configuration (CONFIG).

Deployment host – Host name of target system or IP address

Additional Configure sets – Select the RDB configuration
For generating the RTU file to the Primary host, update the Deployment folder configuration properties.
Note: The Configuration property, Deployment host should be ideally the Primary Host name or IP address.

You should enter the RDB Configuration name in the RDB Configuration field for Configure configuration.

Note: The names used for Alternate Name, Database Name, and COMS Window Name must be the same as the names used for the Primary system (the system configuration whose Configure Set Type is Configure).

Generate the RTU File to the Primary host
REBUILD the Configure configuration (CONFIG) to generate the RTU file to the Primary host.
Right-click on the Deployment folder for the Configure configuration and select Rebuild.
In the Host Login dialog box, enter your usercode and password for the Primary system; also, enter the FTP usercode and password, if you are using.
Click OK.
