The Safe Passage of existing EAE 3.3 applications includes the seamless migration of all existing GUI screens and character-based screens into System Modeler.

The Safe Passage also ensures that the Component Enabler environment continues to operate in the same way as it did in EAE 3.3. All generators available in EAE 3.3 are supported to provide a seamless migration to the Agile Business Suite Framework. The existing custom client applications developed with Component Enabler operate with little or no modification. Any custom generators developed for the Component Enabler. Generate environment also continue to operate as it is operating in EAE 3.3.

AB Suite “Safe Passage” only describes the migration of EAE 3.3 Runtime environments to the same type of operating platform. To migrate from earlier releases of EAE or LINC, you must first migrate and test your application in EAE 3.3 as an intermediate step prior to migrating to AB Suite.
