You can drag and drop existing classes from the class view onto the diagram. You can also add the following items to a diagram:
Classes
External classes
Connectors, such as inheritance, dependencies and associations
Double-click on a class in the diagram to display a dialog showing information about the class. The dialog has General, Members, Dependencies, and Documentation tabs, showing similar information to a class’s Designer Window.
Additional UML Designer Features:
The UML Designer supports scrolling and resize.
The scrollbars is enabled when the diagram is bigger (width/height) then the current window or when an item is dragged out side the current window. When dragging an item to the far right, the diagram scrolls to the left and the vertical scroll bar becomes enabled accordingly (that is, the diagram is made bigger). The same applies for the horizontal scrollbar.
The Zoom menu item allows the diagram to be zoomed to a specified size.
With the UML diagram open, choose View > Zoom > (Zoom options) to view the supported options for zoom.
Diagram status view
In the status bar the current mouse position is displayed as well the size of the diagram.
The Overview dialog
Click on the hand icon (bottom right corner of the Horizontal and Vertical scrollbars) to display the Overview dialog. (The hand icon is only enabled when the scrollbars are enabled.) This dialog displays an overview of the whole diagram. Hold down the mouse click to use the navigation rectangle to navigate to a specific area. This is reflected in both the Overview dialog and the UML diagram. When the mouse click is released (mouse click up), the Overview dialog disappears.
Print & Print View
When a diagram is printed, the diagram is zoomed to the selected paper size.
Set Options for the UML Designer
