During the model migration some user-defined element names might be altered slightly. These name substitutions are necessary for
Any name containing one or more hyphens. Hyphens are replaced by underscores. That is, any class ALIAS name (regardless of platform) retains underscores in its name when imported. Any attempted change to an ALIAS name is rejected if underscores are present. That is, an ALIAS with underscores can only be imported.
The name of any Print Frame. Print Frame names in EAE 3.3 are numeric between 0 and 99. In Agile Business Suite, frames can be given meaningful names, but on migration a prefix is added to the name such as “Frame” so that the Frame names become “Frame00 — Frame99”. Any name conflicts arising from this is resolved by Agile Business Suite. (Refer to Reports for more information.)
Any name which conflicts with an internal or framework name.
Array names due to the syntax changes for referencing array elements.
Note that the Alias value is used as identifying data on some database records (Event records and records for ispecs using inheritance). Changing this value might invalidate existing records in a user database.
