To select a screen for input, you can use your own navigation system or menu, starting from your Fireup Ispec. If you do not have a Fireup Ispec, enter the name of the <<Ispec>> class or Event you require within the first pair of delimiters on the Ispec Selection screen.
The requested presentation screen is then displayed, enabling you to enter data. Complete and transmit the screen.
If you make an error (for example, you do not enter a decimal point into a DECIMAL.KEYED field), an error message is displayed on the status line and the cursor is automatically positioned on the field containing the error.
If there is more than one error message, then all messages are displayed on Page 2 of your terminal (the cursor is not positioned on the field containing the error). You can then switch back to Page 1 to correct the errors and transmit the screen again.
The value of the built-in attribute Glb.Stn is the name of the terminal through which the data is entered.
The value of built-in attribute Glb.Source is T for terminal input.
The value of the built-in attribute Glb.Request is Y if Page 2 was used to request an <<Ispec>> class.
Note: You must not enter Alternate Forms Delimiter characters (as defined for your terminal configuration), within the screen data field delimiters.
