Initializes the station table.

Links the NOF program to COMS.

Establishes the Router Designator. This is used for sending transactions to the application.

Identifies the LINCSUPPORT library for the target application. This is used for replies to Automatic Entries from <<Ispec>> classes.

Establishes the port file connection. This is required when an external program uses a port file interface to the NOFORM program.

Reads in the valid languages for the application and performs the paragraph SET-LANG. This is used to set up the language options, and to identify the initial default language (the program is supplied with a default of English). This code can be deleted if you do not require language support.
