The syntax for this command is as follows:

SPAREPORTS [{nn}]

The Application Builder communicates with the Developer Builder through port file connections. Once a connection (port file) is opened, the Application Builder attempts to open ‘offer’ another port to provide for an additional connection to the Developer Builder. Application Builder continues to attempt to open ‘offer’ ports, as needed, while the number of open ports is less than the MAXPORT limit.

Use this command to display or set the number of offered port connections to nn.

By default, the value is 2.
