SERVERS

The syntax for this command is as follows:

SERVERS
SERVERS -
SERVERS Q
SERVERS R
SERVERS P=n
SERVERS P=n [A]
SERVERS V=s
SERVERS V=s [A]

This command is used to display the active Application Builder Servers. This includes all versions, levels and releases and the information shown includes the mix number, task name, priority, version and the port number.

If a duplicate port number is detected, it is noted by >< in place of the [] port number delimiters ([]).

If no response is received from the Application Builder Server, the message, '<< Not responding >>' is returned.

If the '-' argument is supplied, all active Appl Bld(s), except the one to which the command is submitted, are requested to close via the DSS. In this case no server details are returned.

When the 'Q' argument is supplied, all active Appl Bld(s), except the one to which the command is submitted, are requested to close internally. In this case no server details are returned.

When the 'R' argument is supplied, all active Appl Bld(s), except the one to which the command is submitted, are requested to action a RESET SYSTEM ALL command. In this case no server details are returned.

When the 'P=' argument is supplied with an n value, then the display will be restricted to Appl Blds having this value as the full or part port #. When the A argument is included, it will display all Appl Blds with those matching the full or part port highlighted by an '*'. For example, SERVERS p=88 would match with App Bld Servers on ports 8800, 8801, 8803, 8810 and so on.

When the 'V=' argument is supplied with an s string, then the display will be restricted to Appl Blds having this value (terminated by '.') as the full or part version. When the A argument is included, it will display all Appl Blds with those matching the full or part version highlighted by a '#'. For example, SERVERS v=28 0 03 would match with App Bld Servers whose versions are 28 0 0338 01, 28 0 0320 01, 28 0 0340 01 and so on.
