The syntax for this command is as follows:

REBUILD REPORTS [INITIALIZE]
REBUILD SYSTEMS [INITIALIZE]

Use this command in exceptional circumstances when corruption has occurred in the available links of either SYSINFO or REPINFO tables. These two tables and the links are fundamental to the successful operation of Application Builder.

Including the INITIALIZE option deletes all respective system or report entries. All version info and timestamps are lost. This option should only be used when a normal REBUILD does not correct the problem.

This command is used almost exclusively as a diagnostic tool for Application Builder development and its necessity outside this environment would be extremely rare.
