The syntax for this command is as follows:
CONSOLIDATE ALL CONSOLIDATE UNVTIMES CONSOLIDATE USERCODES CONSOLIDATE PACKNAMES CONSOLIDATE REQUESTORS CONSOLIDATE REPNAMES CONSOLIDATE SYSNAMES
Static style information is maintained in tree-style tables. Over time, these tables can become cluttered with redundant information, such as system names and guidenames (Graphical Unique Identifier). Consolidating this information reduces the disk space requirement of the CPA file, on which the tables reside, as well as reducing the search times for the tables.
Use this command to 'garbage collect' the selected system tables, remove any unused entries, and repack the entries.
Generates cannot be active when using this command.
The current checkpointarray (CPA) file must first be taken a backup with a suffix of ../ ccyymmdd/hhmmss before an ALL style CONSOLIDATE command is issued.
