Automatic System recovery is initiated and controlled by DMS II. The recovery of Reports is initiated and controlled by the LSS (System Supervisor) program, but might also be manually initiated, if the Extend Report Recovery Segment configuration property under the Runtime Behavior category is set to True.
Notes:
Archival recovery using the log files or COMS TTRAIL is not supported.
If you have reset REAPPLYCOMPLETED and INDEPENDENTTRANS, then this subsection does not apply.
The initiation information for the last 195 Reports initiated by Ispecs and by all Start logic commands is retained so that the Report or WFL can be correctly rerun in recovery.
