You must always perform backups immediately before and after running a reorganization of your application.
Also, if you change the designated log file pack, it is your responsibility to copy the log files to your new pack before running your application, otherwise the Logging Library in your system creates a new log file, and you lose information.
Do not attempt to reorganize an application that requires Recovery. It must first be recovered and terminated normally, before it can be reorganized. |
