Before initiating FTU, ensure that the correct files are in place. Refer to Choosing Correct Files for FTU Tasks for more information.
To initiate the FTU, perform the following:
Check that the required files are available and correctly named, as necessary. Refer to the specific instructions for each type of use below.
Enter the following command from CANDE:
RUN $(usercode)NGEN28/FTU
If your CANDE session was initiated under the same usercode as FTU, the (usercode) value is optional.
As a result, the first FTU screen is displayed, with the heading:
WELCOME TO THE NGEN28 SCREEN TRANSLATION UTILITYThis screen is referred to as the FTU Welcome screen.
Enter your parameter values as appropriate.
