This situation applies where many user applications are able to use one set of translations of your ROC captions and Segment attributes:
Translate the master copy file of ROC captions or Segment attributes.
Use the LGLOBAL MULTILANG file.
Enter Y in one or both of the Translate Global SDS and Translate DAD properties.
There is initially only one set of captions and Segment attributes in the LGLOBAL MULTILANG file. To create additional sets of captions and Segment attributes, enter Y in the View/Modify User Languages property to name and define additional language positions, then enter your translations in the named language positions.
To change or delete existing language positions, also enter Y in the View/Modify User Languages property.
Note: The Primary language cannot be deleted.
As languages are accessed from the LGLOBAL MULTILANG file by language number (position) rather than language name, it is necessary to ensure that your defined language positions match those defined by using the Multi Language List in Developer.
In the LGLOBAL MULTILANG file, ROC screen layouts begin with ROC.
