This situation applies where many user systems are able to use one set of translations of your ROC screen layouts.
Translate the master copy file of ROC screen layouts.
Use the NGEN28/1/LGLOBALFORMS as file name.
Enter Y in the Translate Screen Formats property.
There is initially only one set of screen layouts in the LGLOBALFORMS file. To create additional sets of screen layouts for translation, use the :ADD command.
To define additional language positions, or to change or delete existing language slots, enter Y in the View/Modify User Languages property.
Note: The Primary language cannot be deleted.
As languages are accessed from the LGLOBALFORMS file by language number (position) rather than language name, it is not necessary to name and define language positions, although it is recommended for your documentation purposes.
Notes:
For translation of multiple language copies of ROC screen layouts at the user system level, you must define multiple language copies at the LGLOBALFORMS file level. In NGEN28/1/LGLOBALFORMS, ROC screen layouts begin with ROC-.
If additional sets of screen layouts have not been added to the LGLOBALFORMS file, and you translate a system LINCFORM file by using FTU, you will only have access to one set of ROC screens, although you will have access to as many sets of your own screen layouts as you have defined.
