LSM details cannot be unloaded from one release and reloaded into an earlier release. They can only be loaded into the same or a higher release.

LSM load files have identical format for all host environment types, and LSM tape files can therefore be loaded into LSM on other hosts, using standard system copy facilities.

If you delete an Ispec from the application and need to delete it from the LSM information, first unload the existing LSM details to a flat file and then load the details from the file. (During the load process, each Ispec on the unload file is checked for existence in the GLI file. If an Ispec is not also in the GLI file, it is not loaded.)
