Video Report output is displayed on the terminal from which it was requested. A Report directed to a video terminal cannot be executed through the batch Report Initiation Program NGEN28/RIP, nor will any Shadow Report output be produced for it.
When you execute a Video Report, you might receive more than one screen of output information. A page of Video Report output consists of 48 lines, displayed in two screen sets of 24 lines each, on Pages 1 and 2 of a video terminal. Page 1 is sent first, then page 2.
If a Report with a primary device of LP, TP, or RP is redirected to a video terminal, any characters in a line beyond column 80 are truncated.
System messages appear at the bottom of the screen. You use video browse commands to browse the output. You must include the prompt (>) character with each command. A >STOP or >QUIT video browse command is required to bring a Video Report to End-of-Job.
When your Video Report terminates, the application processes an automatic recall of the last Ispec you processed from your terminal.
