Enables a one-line message to be sent to other stations signed on to the application. Writes message to status line of destination station. Security level is ODT.
The :SMG command has the form:

dest is the receiving station. ALL for all stations, or ODT for Operator Display Terminals only. The receiving station name can be a full station name or a reference station name.
text is the message text.
