While you are signed on to any Runtime application, you can use the administration commands to communicate with the controlling System Supervisor program (LSS).
Note: Most Report-related administration commands thus only see non-standalone Reports, as Standalone Reports are not controlled by LSS. The exceptions are the commands also related to recovery (:DEL and :REP RECOVER), which include Standalone Reports.
Administration commands are preceded by a colon (:). (For this reason, administration commands are sometimes referred to as colon commands.) A colon is not required for:
Commands entered from the ODT with an AX command (Refer to Entering Administration Commands).
Replies to Accept logic commands (input following the >prompt character), including the STOP command (>STOP).
Commands preceded by the> prompt are also referred to as accept commands. Refer to Accept Commands.
