Transfer Startup Screen

The first Runtime Transfer screen to be displayed is the Transfer Startup screen. This screen enables you to specify the application to be transferred and where it is to be transferred to.

Segment Class

Enter the name of the Segment that contains the source and Configure Configurations.

Configuration used for Generate

Enter the name of the Configuration to be used to build the source application. This must not be a Model Configuration or a BNA Configuration, and it must match the source Configuration in the RTU file.

Configure Generate Set

If required, enter the name of the Configuration to be used to configure the target application. This must not be a Model Configuration or a BNA Configuration, and it must match the Configure Configuration in the RTU file.

RDB Configuration

If you are using the Remote Database facility, enter the name of the RDB Configuration with the details of the Remote Database for the target application.

You must have defined an RDB Configuration with the same name in Developer, by setting the Configure Set Type property to RDB of the Segment under the Configure/BNA category and by specifying a name for the RDB Configuration property of the Segment under Remote Database category.

If you have entered a name in the Configure Generate Set property, the RDB Configuration must match the one specified in the named Configure Configuration.

If you have specified an RDB Configuration for your Configure Configuration using the RDB Configuration property of the Segment under Remote Database category, you must enter the RDB Configuration name here, so that the details can be extracted from the RTU file.

RTU File Title

Enter the file title of the RTU file to be used in the transfer process, for example,
(myusercode)myrtufile on mypack.
