The following restrictions apply to file transfers:
The Transfer Type of DISK or PACK means that both transfer and configure is done on the same host. The Transfer Type of BNA means that the transfer is done between a source and target host, which might be the same, with the configure running on the target host. The Transfer Type of TAPE means that the configure might be run on either the same or another host.
If you build a new application to your source host and you want to transfer the object code to an existing application on your target host, it is recommended that you set the Tfr/Configure All Ispec Code property of the Transfer Selection screen to Y. You should also transfer all Reports.
If you perform multiple generates without transferring the files, you risk producing a target application with an incompatible set of code (object) files.
Up to 2000 Reports can be transferred in a single non-tape transfer and configure.
You cannot use nested WFL Include files for saved transfer parameters.
