Generation might fail to complete for one of the following reasons:
Host is Halt/Loaded
Program failed
Database Reorganization failed
The actions to take in event of these failures are outlined below.
Host is Halt/Load
In this case, the Generate WFL is automatically restarted, and resumes from approximately the same point it was at when the Halt/Load occurred.
You do not need to intervene or perform any actions for this process.
Automatic restart of the build also occurs successfully when a Halt/Load occurs during reorganization of your database.
Program Failed
A program failure might occur for the following reasons:
Program failed to compile
Program failed unexpectedly (for example I/O error or DS)
In both cases, manual intervention is required. You must perform the following:
Identify the cause of the failure.
Correct the cause of the failure.
Restart the generate.
Database Reorganization Failed
Database reorganization might fail online or offline. The procedure for recovering both types of failed database reorganizations is the same.
