Removing Source Code Files

When your build is complete, COBOL source file names are changed to the following form:

system/source_file/

At this point, they replace any previous versions of the file.

Presence of existing source code files might improve performance during partial regeneration and partial recompilations of your subsystems. It is recommended that you do not remove source code files. For partial compiles, you must not remove system/source_file/GSD/PROGRAM and system/source_file/GSD/INCLUDES.
