Building to Create a New Application

To create a new application and database, set the Retain Existing Database Segment configuration property to False. This is the default value for a Specification that has not been previously built.

A value of False always creates a new database. Any existing database, if it has the same name as the new database, is overwritten. You are first prompted to confirm your action.

From the dialog box, transmit the following to confirm that you want to overwrite existing files:
```
mix OK
```
Additional replies are required if the old application is active, or needs recovery.
If you do not want to overwrite your existing application, transmit:
```
mix DS
```
