Use the DumpEncrypt property configuration property to enable automatic tape encryption during a DMUTILITY DUMP options. Use the EncryptType segment configuration property to specify the encryption algorithm to use, TDES or AES256. If you do not specify any, DMSII uses TDES.

Restrictions

DMSII does not allow dump encryption to be used at the same time as data masking is used. If you want to use dump encryption, ensure that the Obfuscate Level segment configuration property is set to 0.
