TPS requires the Output Control Codes file to be present, otherwise formdepth control, PITCH, and highlighting (BIG, BRIGHT, REVERSE and UNDERLINE) will not function correctly. This file, referred to as the CODES file, is named NGEN28SYS/CODES . A CODES file containing all parameters for terminal printers qualified for AB Suite is supplied on your AB Suite release package. See Setting Up Printers.
To ensure that the CODES file is accessible to TPS, copy the CODES file if necessary, as follows:
Under the same usercode as TPS
On the pack family for the TPS usercode
When TPS is initiated, it loads the CODES file into memory. You can force TPS to reload the CODES file while it is running. For more details, see TPS Commands.
