Glb.DestHost is a read-writable built-in segment attribute that is used with external automatic entries. It specifies the name of the host where the target application database, specified by the Glb.Destination built-in segment attribute, is located.
Glb.DestHost is reset to the Glb.SelfHost value at the start of each ispec or report.
To send an external automatic entry to a different host, the host name value must be moved to Glb.DestHost as follows.
For a System based on the Windows operating system, move the node name (the name of the host in the communications network).
For an MCP-based system, move the host name attribute established in the BNA definition.
For OLTP, this is set to the literal GLB.OLTP in client.
