User-defined functions are functions that you can develop to extend the system functions in DDW. The user-defined functions enable you to write your own functions to customize the transformations according to your individual business requirements. You can use the user-defined functions when the operators or system functions do not provide sufficient flexibility in customizing the transformations.
User-defined functions give you the flexibility to control how data will be transformed. Ensure that the execution of the user-defined functions do not cause any business disruptions. The outcome of developing and executing these user-defined functions lies entirely with the users. Unisys does not provide any troubleshooting support, or take any ownership for the functions you create. |
