Data Exchange is supported on
All Libra Servers that have not yet reached the end of phase 1 support.
Refer to the following link to see the support level of the MCP servers: MCP-based Systems Hardware Support Plan.
Hosts containing ClearPath MCP Software Series .
The following table lists the minimum hardware required for the Windows components of Data Exchange.
Table 1. Hardware Requirements for Windows Machines
Windows Component | CPU * | Disk Space * | RAM * |
DEMS | Dual-core 2 GHz 64-bit | 100 GB | 2 GB |
DDW | Dual-core 2 GHz 64-bit | 100 GB | 2 GB |
Runtime Administration | Dual-core 2 GHz 64-bit | 100 GB | 2 GB |
Runtime Service | Quad-core 2 GHz 64-bit | 100 GB | 4 GB |
Data Exchange Agent for SQL Server | Quad-core 2 GHz 64-bit | 100 GB | 4 GB |
* These are the minimum configurations
that will work well only for simple transformations. For transformations
involving many columns, complex data structure, expressions, or user
defined functions, machines with higher hardware configurations are
required for optimum performance. * For SQL Server as the source database, additional disk space may be required as additional records are written to the SQL Server database after enabling change data capture. |
Notes:
Data Exchange supports only Intel-based machines for both Windows and ClearPath.
The Ethernet speed impacts the performance of the transformation. It is recommended to use a speed of 10 GB.
