Supported Data Stores

This section lists all the data stores that are supported by Data Exchange as either the transformation source or the transformation target.

Note: Data Exchange supports N (the latest version) and N-1 versions of a software.

Use Enterprise Database Server 59.1 IC3 or above if your database contains Link Data Items or Embedded Data Set and you need to perform Enterprise Database Server Halt/Load recovery.

To use the scale out feature and to set DATAEXCHANGE at the dataset level, use DMSII-060.0A.8 (MCP 19.0) or DMSII-059.1A.26 (MCP 18.0).

SQL Server

  • SQL Server 2019 Enterprise Edition (x64)

  • SQL Server 2017 Enterprise Edition (x86, x64)

  • SQL Server on Linux as the source database is not supported as DE Agent for SQL Server is a Windows application.

  • SQL Enterprise Edition is required because SQL change data capture (CDC) feature is required and is only available in the Enterprise edition.

  • SP level is not specified unless there is a dependency. It is recommended to use the latest SP available.
