Managing Security Profile

You can create and associate a security profile with an environment. A security profile defines whether secure network communication should be enabled for this environment when a transformation is running.

When Secure Connection is enabled, you must ensure that the necessary secure connection settings are configured in all nodes on the network communication.

To establish a secure connection, ensure that you have installed the certificates issued by the Certification Authority (CA). While creating a security profile, if you enable secure connections on Security Settings tab, all the certificates you have installed under Local Computer and Current User account on the DEMS host are displayed. You can select the required certificate and attach it to the security profile. You can then associate the security profile with the environment on the Manage Environment tab.

Note: You must install the same certificate on all the hosts on which the Data Exchange components of an environment are installed.
