Managing Roles

A role is a set of privileges that the user/group can be mapped to.

DEMS allows you to create and manage roles such as administrator, tester, and so on and assign them the privileges they would need to perform the required tasks.

DEMS provides the following built-in roles:

You can see the privileges associated with these roles by clicking View Details and then determine if you want to use them or create your own user-defined roles.

If you want to create a new role that closely matches an existing role, you can duplicate the existing role and then modify it based on your requirement.
