For Bulk Data Transfer, Data Exchange uses Application Integration Services (AIS for OS 2200) to secure communication between the OS 2200 Agent and the Runtime Service.
To enable secure connection,
Enable secure connection on AIS to encrypt data transferred from the source database to the Runtime Service for BDT.
On the machine where you have installed Runtime Service,
install the same certificate you used in AIS in the Current User or Local Machine certificate store.
install the certificate chain of the Certificate Authority in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
While starting BDT, enter the secure AIS host connection name in the AIS Connection Name field in the General Settings tab. For more details, refer to Data Exchange Runtime Administration and Operations Help.
