Secure connections between the MCP Service (MCP Agent and DMSII Adapter) and Runtime Service are established using the Application Integration Services (AIS for MCP) Secure Connection.
To enable secure connection between MCP Service and Runtime Service,
Enable secure connection on AIS to encrypt data transferred from the source database to the Runtime Service for Bulk Data Transfer (BDT) and Changed Data Transfer (CDT).

While starting BDT or CDT, enter the secure AIS host connection name in the AIS Connection Name field in the General Settings tab. For more details, refer to Data Exchange Runtime Administration and Operations Help.
