Kanji and Gaiji Support

Data Exchange supports execution of a bulk data transformation and a changed data transformation of non-English databases as follows:

Data Exchange supports Gaiji for transformation from Enterprise Database Server to SQL Server, Oracle Database, or Kafka Data store. For this, you must:

  1. Upgrade to the latest XlateEbcdic (for MCP 17 and 18) on the Windows server where Data Exchange Runtime Service is installed.

  2. Prepare a CharacterMappings.txt file of your Unicode Gaiji to JBIS8 Gaiji.
