ePortal allows you to perform various operations using command-line tools. You can automate certain ePortal administrative steps using scripting.
You must use a Visual Studio solution extracted from the source code repository to perform build, stage, and deploy operations from the command line. Refer to the documentation of your source control tool for information on how to extract the solution from source control.

The command-line tools use the ePortal management web service to deploy and undeploy the application.
You can also schedule a task to deploy the staged application either by using Windows PowerShell script or by using Batch script. These script files are located in C:\Program Files x86\Unisys\ClearPath\Unisys\ClearPath\ePortal Developer <version>\Tools directory.
