Cannot Connect to Host

This message indicates a configuration error in the ClearPath ePortal configuration file for the presentation project.

Do the following if the project is not deployed:

  1. In Solution Explorer, right-click the presentation project, and click ClearPath ePortal Application Configuration.

  2. Verify the following:

    • The port number is correct for the ClearPath server application.

    • The window name for an MCP application is correct, if applicable.

    • The ClearPath server name or IP address is correct for the ClearPath server application.

    • The application, TSAP, and initial transaction for an OS 2200 UTS application is correct, if applicable.

Do the following if the project is deployed:

  1. On the left-hand navigation pane of the ClearPath ePortal Manager, go to Deployed Applications and click the application that is deployed.

  2. Verify the following:

    • The port number is correct for the ClearPath server application.

    • The window name for an MCP application is correct, if applicable.

    • The application, TSAP, and initial transaction for an OS 2200 UTS application is correct, if applicable.

    • The ClearPath server name or IP address is correct for the ClearPath server application.

  3. Use ClearPath ePortal Manager to redeploy the application.
