Save Message Dialog

When you save a T27XML message, UTSXML message, client message, or server message that might affect an existing .aspx presentation file, the Save Message dialog appears.

For example, if you change the ControlStyle property for a particular message field from DropDownList to RadioButtonList, and a web forms presentation corresponding to this message already existed, the Save Message dialog appears.

Select one of the following options, depending on which action you want ePortal Developer to take.

Automatically update existing presentations

Select this option to cause ePortal to reconcile changes from the message to all corresponding existing .aspx presentation files.

Note: Only fields which you have edited since the last save of the message are reconciled.

If you select the Review and confirm each presentation change option, you are prompted before each change is performed. If you do not select this option, the changes occur without prompting you to confirm.

Save without updating existing presentations

Select this option if you do not want ePortal to update any existing presentation files. If you select this option, you should perform a Reconcile Presentation Files command at a later time.

Click Save to save the message changes to disk, and to reconcile the changes with your presentations, if you selected the first option above. If you click Cancel, no changes are performed and the message editor remains open with your unsaved changes.
