Re-Sending Failed Call Home Events

Call Home events are automatically sent to the Unisys Support Center. If the support center fails to acknowledge a particular event, then the event’s operation status is set to SEND_FAILED in the event console.

Fabric Manager allows you to re-send the failed Call Home events that are listed as SEND_FAILED in the event console.

To re-send a failed Call Home event

  1. On the Fabric Manager user interface, click Diagnostics.

  2. Click Events & Alerts.

    A table listing all the events appear.

  3. In the filter row drop-down lists, select the values All, OperationStatus, and SEND_FAILED.

    A table of all the SEND_FAILED events appears in the events console.

  4. Select the desired SEND_FAILED event.

    Details of the ESR packet that is sent and the acknowledgement details received from the Call Home are displayed in the Details section.

  5. Click Re-Send.

    The operating status of the event changes to SEND: IN-PROGRESS and appears in the events console.

    Note: Use Re-Send button only when the packets are valid.
