If your user role gives you the required permission, you can edit the secure fabric’s name and description.
To edit the secure fabric
On the Fabric Manager user interface, point to System Administration, and then click Secure Fabrics.
The Manage Secure Fabric appears on the left pane and the Details: Physical Fabric screen appears on the right pane.
In the Details: Physical Fabric pane, select the appropriate secure fabric and click Edit.
The Edit Secure Fabric screen appears.
You can edit the values in the following fields:
Name
Description
Subnet IP
Notes:
You can edit only the description field if any partition image is associated with the secure fabric.
Ensure that no partition image is associated with the secure fabric if you wish to edit the Name and Subnet IP fields.
You can only edit the description of the IP-LAN secure fabric.
The IP addresses should meet the following requirements:
Class ‘A’: First Octet should be between 1 and 126
Class ‘B’: First Octet should be between 128 and 191
Class ‘C’: First Octet should be between 192 and 223
Unisys recommends the use of private IPV 4 address spaces.
Click Save to update.
