Do the following to disassociate a partitionable enterprise partition platform (PEPP) partition or a nonpartitionable enterprise partition platform (NEPP) from a secure fabric:
Remove the virtual IP over InfiniBand (IPoIB) interfaces from the operating system environment.
For more information, see Removing a Virtual IP over InfiniBand (IPoIB) Interface.
For Windows operating systems, you may also need to determine mapping of a virtual IPoIB interface to a physical port or subnet tag (PKEY); refer to Determining Mapping of Virtual IPoIB Interface to Physical Port and Determining Mapping of Subnet Tag (PKEY) to Virtual IPoIB Interface for more information.
Using the ClearPath Forward Fabric Manager, do one of the following to complete removal of the PEPP partition or NEPP from the secure fabric:
If you are disassociating a PEPP partition, access the Secure Fabrics screens, and complete removal of the partition image from the secure fabric.
See Disassociating a Partition Image from a Secure Fabric for more information.
If you are disassociating a NEPP, access the summary page for the NEPP, and edit the description to manually remove information of the secure fabric (subnet tag, subnet IP address, and so on) the NEPP was associated with.
See Editing a Platform’s Name and Description for more information.
