To prevent problems, keep the following best practices in mind when working with the Fabric Manager user interface and the Fabric Management Platform:
Do not leave any Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client sessions unattended.
Limit the number of RDP client sessions to the Fabric Management Platform. Ideally, there should not be more than two sessions (one for the administrator and one for the operator).
Limit the number of browser sessions open on the Fabric Management Platform. Three browser sessions should be sufficient (one for Fabric Manager, the Platform Management Card, and s-Par).
Limit the number of virtual console and Partition Desktop sessions that are open at one time. Close any unneeded consoles if you experience slow response times or notice high Central Processing Unit (CPU) and memory utilization.
Always log out from the ssh or RDP client session rather than closing the window.
Before you log out of the Fabric Management Platform, close all browser sessions and applications.
