Symptoms | No data is found in ldump files when downloaded using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser versions 9, 10, and 11. |
Cause | Platform ldump files have the file extension as “tgz”. However, if you are accessing the Fabric Manager using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser versions 9, 10, or 11, then while downloading the dump files, the Internet Explorer automatically changes the file extension to “gz” resulting in empty files being downloaded. |
Solutions | When using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser versions 9, 10, or 11 do not use the Save option of the browser. Instead use the Save As option that allows you to change the file extension to "tgz". |
