Symptoms

A network interface which is configured to receive its configuration (such as an IP address) through DHCP, fails to contact the DHCP server.

Cause

DHCP server is not responding to the request from the partition image.

Solution

Review and update the DHCP server policy to allow locally administered MAC addresses on DHCP requests. If the problem persists, then contact the Unisys Support Center.
