Use this dialog box to create a view to an OS 2200 logical console. OS 2200 Console View creates the new view using the default view properties.

Fields
| System | Is the name of the ClearPath Plus server. This name must match the name assigned to the server using Server Control Client. This name is case sensitive. |
| Partition | Is the name of an OS 2200 partition on the specified ClearPath Plus server. This name must match the name assigned to the partition using Site Configuration Management System (SCMS). This name is not case sensitive. |
| Console | Is the name of a console within the specified partition. This name must match the name assigned to the console using Site Configuration Management System (SCMS). This name is case sensitive. |
Notes:
The default view name is the partition and console names separated by a period, for example, PART1.CONS0.
Each OS 2200 console requires a unique identifier across the enterprise. The consoles in ClearPath Plus servers do not have IP addresses. Therefore, the system, partition, and console names together must uniquely identify the console. Consoles can have the same name if they are on different partitions or systems.
