OS 2200 Console View is installed with default properties specified for a view. You can customize the default properties for your site to create a site-defined default view. Creating a site-defined default view lets all the users at your site have the same default look and feel when they open a new view to a console.
Note: You can also customize properties for individual consoles.
From Properties on the File menu, you can configure the following items
Pane. This includes the display order, whether each pane is visible or hidden, the foreground and background color of each pane, and the font size of messages that appear in each pane.
Autoaction database message. This includes overriding the SUPPRESS and TCOMMAND actions or redefining the HIGHLIGHT action.
See Changing the View Properties for more information.
To make a site-defined default view permanent, you must save your settings with Save Defaults on the File menu.
Notes:
You must have Administrator privileges to change the default view properties.
If you do not create site-defined default view properties for your site, OS 2200 Console View uses the installed view properties.
