When working with multiple OS 2200 consoles, you can customize the appearance of each console view to clearly distinguish it from others.
To customize the view of a console, you can configure the following items (using Properties on the File menu):
Pane. This includes the display order, whether each pane is visible or hidden, the foreground and background color of each pane, and the font size of messages that appear in each pane.
Autoaction database message. This includes overriding the SUPPRESS and TCOMMAND actions or redefining the HIGHLIGHT action.
Additionally, you can customize the size of each pane.
To make your changes permanent, you must save the customized view (Save or Save As…).
Notes:
You must have Administrator privileges to save a customized view.
If you do not customize individual console views for your site, OS 2200 Console View uses the site-defined view properties or the installed properties of the view (if site-defined view properties do not exist).
