OS 2200 Console View lets you open a view to an OS 2200 logical console. Once a view is open, you can see data being sent to the logical console and interact with the OS 2200 partition.
What Is a View?
A view is a set of connection attributes and display properties. The connection attributes specify the logical console that OS 2200 Console View uses as a data source. The properties of a view specify how the data appears. You can save a set of connection attributes and display properties under a specific name for use in later OS 2200 Console View sessions.
Views and the Exec
You can open a view to a logical console before the OS 2200 partition is started and the Exec is booted. The view remains open even if the Exec is not running.
