OS 2200 Console View can notify you when an alarm is raised on the OS 2200 logical console. Use this option to specify whether you want to be notified of alarms and, if so, what method you want OS 2200 Console View to use. By default, OS 2200 Console View flashes the title bar and beeps the workstation.
To specify alarm notification
Click Options on the Tools menu.
The Options dialog box appears
On the Alarms tab panel, select or clear the Alert Notification check box. If you turn alarm notification on, select the type of notification you'd like to receive for each mode of operation.
Click Apply to accept the changes you made. OK closes the Options dialog box.
