The display pane provides read-only data about a node you selected in the navigation pane. In Operations mode, the data is displayed using a variety of different tables or topologies from which you can select. In Administration mode, the data is always displayed as a table.
Although you cannot modify data in the display pane, you can perform a few tasks using shortcut menus, such as adding or deleting items or opening auxiliary applications like console windows, Operations Sentinel Log Viewer, or external applications. To modify data, use the details pane.
Adjusting Column Widths in the Display Pane
To adjust the width of a column
Point to the right border of the column heading.
When the pointer becomes a double-headed arrow, drag the pointer to move this column border to the left or right.
Tip: To adjust a column to fit the column contents, double-click the right border of the column heading.
Sorting Items in the Display Pane
Sorting allows you to arrange items in ascending or descending order. To reorder items in a table in the display pane, click the heading of the column on which you want to sort. Click the column heading a second time to switch from ascending to descending or vice versa.
